摘　　要：量子力学中给出了两种数学方法将线性独立但不正交的态矢正交化，本文用一个量子光学中的例子说明这两种正交化方法在物理上是不等价的。Abstract: In most textbooks of quantum mechanics two mathematical procedures are given to orthogonalize linearly independent but not orthogonal state vectors. In this paper an example taken from quantum optics is used to illustrate that the two orthogonalization procedures are not physically equivalent.
