摘  要:In this paper,by studying the accuracy of indentation microfracture,it is pointed out that the residual stress in the indentation site plays a critical role,which makes the theoretical analysis extremely difficult and the indentation microcracks slowly expaned, therefore, affects the accuracy of measurement. It is concluded that according to the infrastructure analysis it is not acceptable to estimate completely the accuracy of determining K? by indentation microfracture from the point of view of classical fracture mechanics.In this paper,by studying the accuracy of indentation microfracture,it is pointed out that the residual stress in the indentation site plays a critical role,which makes the theoretical analysis extremely difficult and the indentation microcracks slowly expaned, therefore, affects the accuracy of measurement.
