摘　　要：Ceramisite is an important building material. Ceramisite comes in two forms—clay ceramisite and shale ceramisite. These ceramisites produced by Beijing City Tujiao Bricks and Tiles Factory and Beijing Ceramisite Factory include various ceramisites used for building, thermal insulation, water screen filtering, and sound absorption, They can be mixed with cement to produce quality light weight bricks and hollow blocks for different constructions. They also can be used as filtering materials. It is very popular at home and abroad and sells well in Japan and Korea. The sole agency for the product is the Beijing City Building Materials Import & Export Corporation.
