摘　　要：The Hexi Corridor, also called the Gansu Corridor, is a narrow and flat strip of land located north of the Qilian Mountain, south of the Heli and Longshou Mountains and west of the Wuqiao Range in Northwestern Gansu. It is 1,200 kilometres long and gets its name because it is situated west of the Yellow River. The world-famous Silk Road passed here before it reached the west. In order to have a look at the sacred Dunhuang, we drove along the corridor and passed famous cities such as Wuwei,
