摘　　要：The first stage of the Uruquay Round, the focus of world attention, was completed by the mid-December last year after seven years of difficulty and intense talks. The final agreement was endorsed on April 15 this year in Morocco. Li Zhongzhou, deputy director of International Economic and Trade Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, was one of the chief members oftbe Chinese delegation to the Uruquay Round of conference.
