摘　　要：The 1990s are a critical period for the development of China’s economy and Beijing’s industry. According to the "Approval and Written Reply concerning the Overall Municipal Planning of Beijing" from the State Council and the "Readjustment Planning of Beijing Industrial Product Mix", in the 1990s Beijing industry will have 12 major trades including auto and electronics and 40 categories of major products. Thanks to the introduction of responsible personnel from Beijing’s competent economic departments, during the Eighth and Ninth Five-Year Plan periods Beijing’s industrial trades will arrange 241 key projects of technical transformation,
