摘  要:In an ion trap with ideal configurations, one single ion moves harmonically under the action of a pure quadrupole potential. The frequency of ion motion can be measured by the use of resonance signals with narrow line width, from which the ionic masses and other fundamental physical constants have been determined precisely.
