福建省虻属姚氏虻组一新种记述(双翅目:虻科)  

DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES OF THE YAO GROUP OF TABANUS(DIPTERA: TABANIDAE) FROM FUJIFN, CHINA

摘　　要：本文记述采自武夷山自然保护区的虻属一新种:唐氏虻Tabanus tangi sp.nov,并与近似种窄额虻Tabanus angustofrons Wang,1985作了区别特征的比较。Tabanus tangi sp. nov,(fig: 1—5) Female: Length 20—22mm. Head: Eyes bare, with one band in life. Occipital cilia black on the upper half margins and golden—yellow on the lower margins. Frons index 1: 8. 5, grayish yellow with golden—yellow and black hairs. Basal callus black—brown and oblong, 2—2. 5 as length as width, narrowly separated or nearly reaching the eyes. Subcallus grayish white pollinose. face and cheeks yellow pollinose with golden—yellow hairs. Beard golden—yellow. Antennae brown, plate of flagellum orange—yellow, tyle darken. Palpus Ⅰ with golden—yellow long hairs, palpus Ⅱ with golden—yellow hairs mixed with black hairs. Thorax: Scutum covered with grayish black pollinose, with golden—yellow and black hairs. Pleura and sternum gray yellow, with golden—yellow hairs. Legs: Fore coxae golden—yellow with concolorous hairs, femora brownish black with mainly golden—yellow hairs and some black hairs, tibiae and tarsi mosly with black hairs. Wing clear, vein brown, vein R_4 with a spure vein. Halteres dark—brown. Abdomen brownish black, tergites Ⅰ-Ⅵ with golden—yellow postrior margins and median triangle spots. This new species belong to the yao Group of the genus Tabanus. It is similar to Tabanus angustofrons Wang 1985, it differs from the latter in which the palpus Ⅱ are covered black bairs, occipital cilia mainly black, the narrower frons and the longer basal callus. Holotype: Female collected from Dazhulan of Wuyi Mountain Nature Protected Area of FuJian Province. Ⅷ. 26, 1987. Paratypes 9♀♀, Ⅷ. 26, 1987, 6♀♀, Ⅷ. 27, 1989, same the Holotype; 12♀♀, Jiangle county, Ⅷ.15, 1987. Holotype ♀ and paratypes 3♀♀ are deposited in the unit of the first author and rest paratypes are deposited in the unit of the second author.
