摘　　要：本文介绍一种面向对象数据库管理系统WHYMX中缓冲管理系统的设计方法。首先,描述该缓冲管理的缓冲模式,这一模式不但能够满足定长或不定长对象的缓冲,而且还能满足用B+树表示大对象的缓冲。其次,给出一个用于该缓冲模式的有效替换算法。The design of the buffer management in WHYMX, an object-orienteddatabase management system, is described in this paper. Firstly, the buffer pattern of thebuffer management is presented, which supports not only buffering of both fixedlength andvariable-length storage objects but also large storage objects expressed as B+ tree.Secondly, an efficient replacement algorithm for this pattern is proposed.
