吸水珍珠岩预处理提高种子活力的作用

摘　　要：吸水珍珠岩预处理玉米、大豆、豌豆等种子与聚乙二醇一样,能明显地提高种子活力、萌发率和抗冷能力。其主要作用可能是:种子吸胀过程中减慢了吸水速度,减轻了膜系统的损伤;启动和改善了种子内部的代谢过程,胚根有足够的物质供应。When the seeds of maize, soybean and cucumber were pretreated with water - absorbed pearlstone,or PEG,their vigour,germination and chilling resistance improved, markedly. It resulted probably from the fact that the leakage of electrolyte of the seeds was reduced durig imbibition ,and that the start and improvement of the metabolism process inside the seeds led to the sufficient material supplied to the growing roots.
