摘  要:Many studies have shown the pronounced statistical relationship between seasonal averaged 500 hPa height departures in the preceding winter/spring and rainfall anomalies over China in the following summer (June—August), which suggests a possibility that the previousperiod atmospheric circulation pattern can be employed to forecast the summer rainfall
