摘　　要：According to our earlier suggestion of defect structure model of LiNbO₃: Mg, the threshold concentration should be 5.3 mol% MgO in congruent crystals. Recently, we measured the polarized O-H stretching-vibration absorption of Mg-doped LiNbO₃ crystals. This experimental results coincide again with the argument we put forward.
