GASTROSPIRILLUM-HOMINIS DETECTED IN THE GASTRIC BIOPSIES FROM ENDOSCOPY

摘  要:在605例患者的胃粘膜标本中,有6例病人检出了人胃螺菌(GH)。其中5例被组织学切片(HE.Giemsa和Warthin-Starry染色)证实,另1例被细胞学涂片革兰氏染色证实。其中3例取胃粘膜组织作细菌培养;GH和HP均不生长。这6例病人均有慢性非活动性胃炎。且GH存在的数量越多,胃炎的程度也越严重。提示GH与慢性胃炎相关。但是,在胃上皮细胞内,上皮细胞连接间隙内未检出GH;在GH群集的胃上皮局部,上皮细胞变性坏死不显著,表明GH无明显侵袭和破坏胃上皮的能力。因此,胃炎是否由GH引起尚难确定。GH是栖息在先前已有损伤的胃粘膜上,或在疾病中确实起着重要的致病作用,有必要进一步研究。Among gastric mucosa biopsies taken from 605 patients, Gastrospirillum hominis (GH) was found in six of them. Five were found by histological sections stained with HE, Giemsa and Warthin-Starry's methods and one was found by cytological smears with Gram stain, During the micro-aerobic cultures of biopsy tissues taken from 3 eases, GH and Helicobacter pylori (HP) did not grow. Chronic non-active gastritis was identified in all 6 cases, and the higher the GH count was, the more severe the gastritis. These findings were consistent with the previous finding that the GH count seems to relate to the gastritis severity. However, GH was not detected in the gastric epithelial cells or in the clefts between the epithelial cells. In addition, there was no remarkable degeneration or necrosis in gastric epithelium where the GH was located. These indicated that whether the GH is simply colonising the gastric mucosa damaged previously, or actually playing a pathogenic role in the disease remains to be investigated further.
