摘　　要：The general formula of the mineral series of pumpellyite can be written as Ca₂X₂·(Y_1-xZ_x) Si₃O_10+x（OH）_4-x, where X refers to M （2）sites occupied often by Al³⁺, and Y and Z refer to M （1） sites occupied by Mg and Al respectively. Julgoldite is an iron-rich endmember of the mineral series with an ideal formula Ca₂Fe₂³⁺(Fe_1-x²⁺Fe_x³⁺)Si₃O_10+x（OH）_4-x·
