摘　　要：马丁·伊登是美国著名作家杰克.伦敦笔下的代表性人物,他的悲剧是"美国梦"幻灭的直接结果。本文从个人奋斗者这个角度来分析马丁·伊登的悲剧意义,并反思个体与社会的关系,进而思考个人主义的局限和意义。在此基础上,进一步理解其对现代社会的启示。Martin Eden is a representative of the famous American writer Jack London's, his tragedy is a direct result of the"American Dream"disillusion.The significance of Martin Eden tragedy from the perspective of personal struggle, and to reflect on the relationship between individual and society, and then think about significance and limitation of individualism.On this basis, the further understanding of the enlightenment to modern society.
