摘　　要：美国朝鲜战争小说中有许多是战俘小说。战俘小说在表现美国战俘在志愿军战俘营的生活经历的同时也用不同的篇幅、从不同的侧面描写了中国人民志愿军的管教干部和普通士兵。这些描写出自不同的作品,却具有惊人的相似,即在贬损志愿军对战俘思想教育的同时,客观上塑造了一个优待战俘、尊重战俘的志愿军群体形象。这一形象也得到了诸如李奇微回忆录等许多中外非文学作品的印证,充分说明志愿军严格执行了日内瓦公约和我军优待俘虏的政策。A great number of American Korean War novels are made up of POW novels,which report on the American POWs' lives and experiences in the POW camps run by the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (PVA).In the meantime,these novels give inevitable sketches of the officers and soldiers of the PVA who guard the POWs.These sketches intended as an attack against the political education'imposed'by the PVA on the American POWs have ironically given a surprisingly similar and sympathetic description of the enemy soldiers,thus creating a collective image of the PVA as civilized human beings who treat their prisoners respectfully and kindly.To different degrees,this image can also be found in many Chinese and foreign non-fictions that treat the War to resist U.S.A.Aggression and Aid Korea,a typical example of which is General Ridgeway's memoir on the war.Such an image of the PVA forcefully demonstrates the fact that the PVA have strictly abided by the provisions laid out by the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War,and the PVA's own Lenient Policy.
