“失根”的犹太人——《信仰大道上的月光》中的流浪母题

摘　　要：流浪母题作为传统母题的一个类型,贯穿于西方文学整个历史。吉娜·B·那海,作为一位犹太裔美国现代作家,以其生于伊朗犹太人聚居区,在欧洲和美国接受教育的背景,使用多种视野和角度来观察和思考在伊朗犹太人,尤其是犹太女性的命运。在《信仰大道上的月光》中,她以自己独特的视角,借用魔幻现实主义的笔触,用一个犹太家族女性的流浪,尤其是女主人公"天使"罗仙娜颠沛流离的一生,从她的两次"离开"与一次回归出发,借用了其与《旧约》中《出埃及记》的互文性,折射出了整个犹太民族的在流浪过程中所经受的多重苦难,并对在美犹太人的生活寄予了新的期望,是一部大气磅礴而又贯穿古今的犹太民族流浪悲歌。Initiation is a typical motif of western literature. Gina B.Nahai is a well-known modern Jewish writer in America. Born in Iran,educated in Europe and America,she has got a multinational perspective to observe and to think about what has been happening in Iranian Jewish ghettos,especially the lives of Jewish women there. Moonlight on the Avenue of Faith is a representative work of hers,highlighted with the initiation of the protagonist,Roxanna,depicts her two 'departures' and one 'return'. It uses its intertextuality with Exodus in Old Testament,to refect the sufferings Jews have experienced on thejr vagrant journey. Nahai also places hopes to the new lives of Jews in United States,the new Promising Land. Thus it points out that though with a content of twists and turns,depressions and miseries,Moonlight is still a feminist carol full of hope.
