摘 要:焦虑是影响学习者语言学习的重要因素,适度的焦虑对语言学习有促进作用,但过低和过高的焦虑对语言学习都有不利的影响。在网络环境下焦虑与学习者个人因素的关系,迄今为止,尚无定论。研究以南昌某高校大一学生为调查对象,在问卷调查和访谈的基础上,发现学习者的个人因素,诸如学习水平与语言焦虑呈负相关,学习者的性别、性格以及家庭等因素虽对语言学习焦虑程度有一定影响,但不产生相关性。促使大学生的语言焦虑主要来源于学习者的个性、同学之间的相互竞争,以及网络技术不熟练等,据此提出相应的教学改进策略。Anxiety is an important influencing factor of language learning anxiety of college students.Proper anxiety is helpful to improve language learning performances. However, low anxiety or high anxiety has a bad effect on it.The relationship between language learning anxiety and learner's personal factors has not been clearly defined so far.232 non-English majors are selected from freshmen in a university to conduct quantitatively and qualitatively the study of relationships between language anxiety and English performance.The results show that female students are a little more anxious than the male students in learning English but there is no significant difference between gender and anxiety; the anxiety mean score of urban students is slightly lower than that of rural students but those rural students are no more anxious than those urban ones. Although introverted students have higher anxiety than extroverted students, there is little significance between personality and anxiety; the study has found a negative relationship between anxiety and English proficiency and low-proficiency students are generally much more anxious than high-proficiency students. Besides, Some dominating anxiety-generating factors have also been found out including learners' personality, the competitiveness between the classmates and lacking of internet skill. Finally, some corresponding strategies are proposed.
