摘　　要：唯物女性主义是女性主义研究的一个重要的派别,强调只有改善女性的物质生活条件才能提高女性的社会地位。作家林小琴在《苦甘蔗》这部作品中对华裔女性的遭遇进行了深刻的描写,反映了当时社会文化背景下华裔女性在肉体和精神上的遭受的双重压迫,展现了华裔女性为争取独立、改变自身社会地位而进行的不屈不挠的斗争。Materialist feminism is an important sect of feminism, emphasize only to improve the living conditions can improve the social status of women. Writer Lin Xiao-qin encounter a profound description in the 'bitter cane' this works of Chinese American women, reflecting the oppression of the social and cultural background of Chinese women in the spiritual and physical suffering, show the Chinese American women to fight for independence, change their social position of the refuse to be cowed or submit struggle.
