PBM核壳结构共聚物的制备及其改性聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯树脂的性能

摘　　要：近些年来乳液聚合用于脆性聚合物的改性研究越来越受到重视。采用氧化还原引发体系、种子乳液聚合方法制备了不同核-壳比的核-壳结构共聚物聚丙烯酸丁酯/甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PBM)乳液,单体总转化率达99.75%,乳胶粒径(dz)在353.3nm左右,粒径多分散指数(PDI)均小于0.075,表明胶束无二次成核过程;透射电镜观察到PBM明显的核壳结构。当核壳比为75/25时出现脆-韧转变,聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)/PBM(100/20)共混物的缺口冲击强度达到最大值,为纯PBT的8.63倍。动态力学性能分析结果表明,橡胶相的内耗峰向高温方向移动,PBT的向低温方向移动,力学损耗峰变宽,且当核壳比为75/25时,两峰间的差值最小,说明此时的PBM与PBT间相容性最好。SEM观察共混物的冲击断面证实了力学性能的变化。In recent years,research on emulsion polymerization used for modification of brittle polymers has been taken more and more seriously.A series of latex of poly(butyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate)core-shell polymer(PBM)with the different core-shell ratio were produced by seed emulsion polymerization and redox initiator system.The overall conversion of the monomers reaches up to 99.75% and almost all the instantaneous conversions are over 92%.The latex particle size(dz)is 353.3nm and the polydispersity index(PDI)less than0.075.The experimental values of particle sizes are in accordance with theoretical calculating values,which show that the particles have grown without significant secondary nucleation.When the modifier(core-shell ratio 75/25)is used,the phenomenon of brittle-ductile transition and the Charpy notched impact strength of poly(butylene terephthalate)(PBT)/PBM(100/20)reaches its maximum value,increased to 8.63 times compared with pure PBT resin,and the tensile strength keeps the high values.Dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA)spectra show that the internal friction peak of the rubber phase moves to high temperature and the internal friction peak of PBT to low temperature;at the same time,the mechanical loss peak becomes wider.These results show that the compatibility of PBM particles with PBT matrix reaches the best when the modifier(core-shell ratio of 75/25)is used.The SEM observation explains the mechanical results.
