摘　　要：人才培养是高校的基本职能之一,培养有理想、有道德的高素质人才,必须不断加强大学生思想政治教育工作。志愿服务活动是一种社会实践形式,通过志愿服务精神的培育和实践,能够使大学生服务社会的思想道德素养得到不断强化。实践证明,志愿服务活动逐渐成为新时期大学生思想政治教育的重要载体,并且成为一种有效载体。志愿服务活动在高校人才培养、社会主义核心价值观的培育、和谐社会的构建中,都有不可估量的重要作用。志愿服务所蕴含的奉献精神和实践功能,正在引导大学生思想政治教育的理论研究和实践探索不断走向深入。Personnel training is one of the university functions ,and it should constantly enhance university students’ ideological and political education to train high quality personnel with ideal and virtue .Volunteer service is a form of social practice ,through whose training and practicing it would foster the students’ sense of serving society and their ideological and political quality .Practice has proved that volunteer serv‐ice has gradually become important carrier of university students’ ideological and political education in new period ,a more effective carrier .Volunteer service plays an essential role in university personnel training , cultivating core socialist values ,and building of harmonious society .Dedication and practicing function within volunteer service has been leading theory study of university ideological and political education to penetrate deeply .
