摘　　要：以美国建筑师弗拉基米尔·奥斯波夫的思想及作品为解读对象,通过对其成长经历与教育背景的介绍,探讨其既吸收东西方不同建筑文化又基于夏威夷本土的设计途径;以其3个设计作品为例,着重分析其中基于气候和场所的"地域现代主义"建筑语言,指出奥斯波夫的建筑创作属于"热带现代主义"这一大的范畴,是现代性和地方性的高度融合,并强调其对当代建筑设计的意义。Focusing on the design philosophy and works of his American architect Vladimir Ossipoff,this paper introduces the life experience and educational background that contribute to his design methods of synthesizing Eastern and Western architectural culture on the basis of the conditions of Hawaii.It offers an analysis of his three designs with an emphasis on the architectural language of 'regional modernism' based on climate and place,and maintains that Ossipoff's designs falls in the category of tropical modernist movement characterized by a vibrant and glamorous architectural integration of modernity and locality,as a valuable reference for contemporary Chinese architecture.
