摘　　要：文章针对民办高校的生命与发展提出了特色化的战略选择。阐述了特色化战略在民办高校定位与发展中的地位、作用及价值取向、相互关系和对一流大学建设过程的研究以及揭示大学历史发展的独特个性。为民办高等教育研究与发展提供可以借鉴的经验。The article proposes a strategy in running private colleges with unique characteristics to maintain a sound existence and development.It expounds the status,role and value orientation of the strategy in the positioning and growth of private colleges.It also discusses the building of first - class universities and the historical development of universities. All of this renders some valuable insights into the study of private college education and its development.
