摘 要:高阶时域有限差分(FDTD)法用于电 大尺寸平面光波导器件的时域分析,实现了高阶FDTD法的理想匹配层(PML)吸收边界条件;研究了高阶FDTD法的数值色散特性,并对平行介质带定向耦合器进行了数值模拟,所得结果与解析解非常一致。The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method with high-order approximate was introduced to the time-domain analysis of electrically-large planar optical waveguide devices. The perfectly matched layers (PML) absorbing boundary condition for higher-order FDTD method was implemented and the numerical dispersion of this scheme was studied. The numerical simulations for the parallel-slab directional coupler were presented and the computing results using this scheme are in highly accordance with analytical solutions. Compared with conventional FDTD method, this scheme could save considerable computational resource without sacrificing solution accuracy, and especially could be applied in the computer-aided design and analysis of electrically-large optical devices.
