摘　　要：本文通过对地图上点的表达式包含的6个变量的比较研究,提出了第一特征值和第二特征值的概念。第一特征值a定位基础信息x,y,z的特征函数求得,它确定点的位置。第二特征值b由性质、表象、浓淡三个特征函数求得,它确定点的内容实质,在此基础上,推导了地图要素的表达式和地图的笛卡尔积模型。With a comparative study on the six variables in the expression for points on maps, the authors have put forward the concept of the first feature value and the second feature value. The first feature value a, which determines the positions of the points,is obtained from the feature function of the basic positioning information of X,Y and Z. The second feature value b, which determines the contents and nature of the points, is obtained from the three feature functions of property, representation and tint. On the basis of this theory, the expression for map elements and the Cartesian product model for maps have been derived.
