摘　　要：随着加入世贸后 ,我国金融市场对外开放的步伐加快 ,外资银行在中国的业务范围也越来越大 ,这将给国有商业银行带来前所未有的冲击。在这种情况下 ,对国有商业银行进行股份制改造 ,使我国银行业尽快步入规范、健康发展的轨道 ,逐步发展成为治理结构完善 ,运行机制健全 ,经营目标明确 ,财务状况良好 。After joining the WTO,China's financial market will be further opened to the outer world,which will enlarge foreign-investment banks' business area,and in the meantime,bring about the challenges to the native banks that they have never met before.So the Joint-stock restructuring of State-owned commercial banks is designed for Chinese banking industry to maitain its standardized and healthy development,with effective corporate governance efficient mechanism,clear objective and good financial conditions.The purpose is to make them large-sized modern commercial banks with great competitive power.
