摘　　要：16世纪初 ,神圣罗马帝国的疆域空前辽阔 ,宗教改革掀起了强大的民族统一运动的浪潮。查理五世试图统一分裂已久的帝国。他却因长期陷于对外战争 ,反对宗教改革。At the beginning of the 16th century , the domain of Holly Roman Empire was larger than before . The Reformation set off a powerful wave of nation unifying movement. Charles Ⅴ attempted to unify the divided empire for a long time. As he fell into endless external wars, resisted the Reformation, and missed an opportunity of unifying Germany. In the end , he headed for his doom inevitably.
