摘　　要：以夏寨水库为例，研究了宁夏南部山区水库淤积的主要影响因素及变化趋势。针对流域径流泥沙特点，按照增加水库调节水量，提高供水效益，减缓水库淤积发展的要求，提出了该地区水库改造和运用方式的改进意见，并对其效果进行了分析。本研究为该地区其他水库的改造提供了依据。The main influence factors and trend of depositing in mountainous area reservoirs of the south Ningxia were analyzed with an example of Xia-zhai reservoir in the paper. According to the distribution of runoff and sediment in the catchment and the increasing demand of available water amount, increase the efficient of water supply and slow down the deposition of the reservoir, some opinion on reservoir alteration and operation measures were put forward, and then analysis of their results was conducted.
