摘　　要：本文编制了中国大尾溞属Leydigia新的分种检索表,并描述了一新种——溪河太尾溞L.fluminea sp.nov.The present paper deals with the genus Le ydigia from China. A new species belonging to the genus was identified.Leydigia fluminea sp. nov. (fig. 1)Female Length 0.56—0.63mm. Body oval. Posterodorsal corner of valve near the level of highest point of dorsal margin. Dorsal margin of valve almost straight, posterior margin rounded, ventral margin slightly convex with a series of long setae, posteroventral corner rounded with a series of spinules followed by a series of fine setules. Valves with longitudinal lines and short transverse lines between them. Head shield narrowly rounded on both anterior and posterior margins. Three main pores connected. Distance from main pores to posterior margin of head shield longer than distance between main pores, and 2 small lateral pores situated closer the middle pore. Eye and ocellus equally large. Antennules not reaching to apex of rostrum. Setae on antennae: 0-0-3/1-1-3. Plate of labrum with setae on the anterior margin. Postabdomen wide, with 15—16 isolated lateral spines and 7 groups of lateral setae, groups 1—3 consisting of a longer seta and a shorter seta, groups 4—7 consisting of a longer seta and two shorter setae. Anal margin slightly convex, with setae. Anal denticles very small. Claws without basal spine.Male Unknown.The new species resembles L. schubart Brehm et Thomsen, 1936, but may be distingushed from the latter by: (1) valve with thin, dense longkudinal lines; (2) antennules ending at a distance from apex of rostrum, and (3) last 4 groups of lateral setae on the postabdomen with one long and two short setae.Holotype ♀, Yuanjiang River, Chenxi County (110.15°E, 28.05°N), May 1, 1989, Yu Jialu and Zhang Dehui; paratyps 3♀♀, Huayuanhe River, Baojing County (109.70°E, 28.60°N), May 15, 1989, Guo Zhaoliang; 1♀, a brook in Yuanling County (110.38°E, 18.05°N), June 29, 1989, Cai Mingyan, Hunan Province, China. Types are deposited in the Institute of Hydrobiology, Academia Sinica.
