摘  要:处在四周由中低山环抱的福州盆地内的马尾港.避风防浪条件较好,又靠近福州市区,且淡水资源丰富,但扩建马尾港为深水港主要有三大不利条件:其一,它是福州盆地内两个最大的沉积区之一,从历史到现在,“港湖”的深广度都是在不断淤浅和缩小;其二,通海航道有六处碍航浅滩(拦门沙),前后两者均难以根治;其三,港区沿岸陆域狭窄,扩建大吨位码头,后方用地有限,相比之下,如在松下海港建大吨位的福州深水外港,其水陆条件则大大优于马尾港,若将马尾港与松下港结合,相辅相成,可形成一个内外港配套的整体,产生更大的效益。The port of Mawei, the main port of Fuzhou, is located in the alluvial delta of the Fuzhou Basin. It is planned to be build as a deep-water port, but there exists 3 major unfavourable conditions: (1)The deposition of sediment is greater than that of erosion. Correspondingly the depth and volume of the port are natually going to be shallower as well as smaller year by year and particularly within recent 80 years the rate of accumulation is accelerated more notable than before. (2) From the port of Mawei to the sea there exits a number of shoals which frequently hinder larger vessels to navigate freely all the year round. (3) The land area in the port of Mawei and along the shores of the channel to the sea is small and narrow, so it is strictly confined to utilize the land for further development. Moreover, the conditions mentioned above could not be thoroughly altered artificially. Accordingly, it would be much better to transfer such a project from Mawei to the natural deep-water port——the port of Songxia out of Fuzhou Basin, for the favourable conditions for the building of deep-water port are much superior to those of the port of Mawei.
