摘　　要：Doppel是近年发现的朊蛋白(PrP)类似蛋白,一级结构与PrPcC端的2/3有25％的同源性。一些PrP基因敲除的转基因小鼠由于Doppel高表达,引起神经细胞变性导致小鼠发生共济失调,从而推测Doppel可能与PrP一样在Prion疾病中发挥重要作用。Doppel is a recently found PrP-like protein, and its first structure showed 25% identity with the C-terminal two-thirds of PrP . Doppel is upregulated in the CNS of some PrP-deficient lines of mice developing late-onset ataxia, suggesting that Doppel may provoke neurodegeneration. It is presumed that Doppel should play an important role similar to PrP in the pathogenesis of Prion diseases.
