摘　　要：ST16C554D是EXAR公司生产的通用异步通信芯片,在通信系统的实时性要求较高时,可用来实现系统的多路串口高速通信,从而增强系统的通信接口控制能力。在此介绍了ST16C554D的性能及相关寄存器,并给出了ST16C554D在TMS320F240多串口通信系统中的硬件应用电路以及TMS320F240初始化ST16C554D的软件编程。ST16C554D is the universal asynchronous communication chip made by EXAR corporation.To content the requirement of the communication system in real time processing and multichannel communication,we can implement high speed more serial interface communication by universal asynchronous communication chip ST16C554D,Meanwhile the control ability of system communication interface can be intensified. This paper provides the application feature and registers related with communication of ST16C554D. The application hardware circuit of communication between TMS320F240 and more serial interface using ST16C554D is introduced in detail.This paper also provides an initialization software program of ST16C554D using TMS320F240.
