摘　　要：将一种网络监(诊)听技术Sniffer引入网络管理中,通过阐明Sniffer技术原理,探讨其在网络管理中的有效应用,并研究sniffer技术在网络管理中的一个难点——对多种协议的捕获和解祈,在这些应用和研究的基础上,给出一个基于Web的分布式sniffer网络管理系统框架,使我们能通过浏览器方便地监视和控制一个大型的复杂的计算机网络,确保其尽可能长时间高效运行。The Sniffer technology (a kind of monitoring technology) was put into network management. By explaining the theory of Sniffer technology, the effective application of this technology in network management was discussed and the difficulty-cap-turing and resolving of multi-protocols was studted. On the basis of these applications and researchs a framework of Web-based distributed Sniffer network management system was given, so that a complex network could be monitored and controled by using Browser expediently. And the network was ensured to run in a long time effectively.
