摘　　要：SNMP是目前广泛使用的一种网络管理协议,它具有简单、易于实现等优点,已成为网络管理领域中事实上的工业标准。然而随着网络的逐步发展,SNMP自身的缺陷不断显露出来,已不能对现代网络进行有效的管理。为弥补SNMP的缺陷,基于XML的网络管理被提到研究日程上来,XML的出现为网络管理的发展带来了新的契机,成为网络管理发展的新趋势。该文从XML的基本知识出发,透过XML技术在网络管理中的优势,给出了基于XML网络管理的4种模型,并对每种模型做了相应分析。SNMP is a network management protocol widely used currently with the virtues such as simplicity and easy realization,which has become the de facto industrial standard in the fieled of network management.However,with the gradual development of the network,the weaknesses of SNMP are increasingly appearing,it can not manage the network efficiently now.To complement the weaknesses,XML_based network management is being put on the research agenda.The occurrence of XML brings a new chance for the development of network management ,and has been a new tendence of the development of network management.In this paper,we begin with the basic knowledge of XML ,present four models of XML_based network management on the basis of the advantages of XML technologies,and do the corresponding analysis for each one.
