摘  要:简要地介绍了广西天等地区晚石炭世-早二叠世含(蜒)地层,对(蜒)类动物群进行了较详细的研究,自下而上建立了7个化石带,分别为:1.Montiparus montiparus带;2.Triticites variabilis带;3.Pseudoschwagerina beedei带;4.Sphaeroschwagerina sphaerica带;5.Mccloudia ovata带;6.Schwagerina cushmani带;7.Chalaroschwagerina inflata带,并与国内外相关地层进行了对比.讨论了石炭-二叠系界线,提出以Pseudoschwagerina beedei,P.uddeni分子的出现作为二叠系的开始.Situated at about 1 km south of the Dongping village in Tiandeng County, Guangxi, the Dongping section consists of continuous marine sediments, including light grey to dark grey medium or thick-bedded micritic and sparitic bioclastic limestones, with coarsely crystalline bioclastic limestone, chert nodules and dolomitic bands. The total thickness of this section is about 194.82m. The fossils collected from this section are primarily fusulinids, other foraminifers, some corals and brachiopods. The fusulinids are dominated by Schwagerininae and Pseudoschwagerininae, which are concentrated and distributed in bands. Most species have a fusiform or spherical shape with complex internal structures and are well-preserved. The petrographic examination on thin-sections (conducted by Prof. Yang Wan-rong) has shown that the small chert nodules are dark grey in reddish matrix while the matrix within bioclasts is mostly micritic and sparitic calcites which are commonly micritized and locally dolomitized with little terrigenous debris. The petrographic features indicate that during the Late Carboniferous and the early Early Permian, the Tiandeng area was under a shallow marine environment characterized by warm temperature, high water clarity and normal salinity, which was highly suitable for benthonic organisms, especially for fusulinid faunas. The Upper Carboniferous and Lower Permian strata of the Dongping Section include two formations and seven fusulinid zones, which are separately described as follows: I. Maping Formation (Upper Carboniferous) 1. Montiparus montiparus Zone This zone ranges from Sample Levels ABS193 to ABSl98 (Beds 1-2, with a thickness of 16.4m) and its base marked by the first appearance of Montiparus, the dominant fusulinid genus of the zone, which is characterized by robust chomata and simply folded septa. This zone may be equivalent to the Kassimovian stage or to the Montiparus montiparus Zone in the Russian Platform, Darvaz and south Urals of the former USSR. 2
