摘　　要：当用户在网络上进行多媒体信息检索的时候 ,考虑服务质量 (QoS)标准问题 ,会显著提高检索的质量和效率。本文基于这种思考提倡建立一个基于QoS的网络多媒体信息检索系统。首先描述一个多层QoS模型和多媒体信息的分布式网络结构 ,接着提出一个从用户角度而言首选的信息筛选过程 ,即QoS筛选过程 。When the users retrieve multimedia information on the network,if the Quality of Service(QoS)standard is taken into account,the retrieval quality and efficiency will be obviously enhanced.Based on this idea,this paper proposes to construct a QoS based network multimedia information retrieval system.Firstly,a multi tier QoS model and a distributed network structure of multimedia information are described,then an information screening process preferred by the users,that is,a QoS screening process,is put forward.Finally,the paper gives a detailed description of how to construct the QoS based network multimedia information retrieval system.
