摘　　要：采用数值方法,研究了荫罩式PDP(SM-PDP)放电单元的着火特性。计算了寻址期和维持期中,气体沿不同放电路径的着火电压,并讨论了放电单元中金属障壁对于着火特性的影响。最后,指出了SM-PDP着火特性的优越性。A numerical method for analyzing the firing characteristics of discharge unit in AC PDP with shadow mask (SM-PDP). The firing voltages for the various discharge paths are calculated in addressing and sustaining period, and the effects of the metal rib on the firing characteristics are discussed. Furthermore the advantages of the SM-PDP in the firing characteristic are discussed.
