摘　　要：本文叙述利用穗深地区现有光缆路由(粤港、榕穗光缆路由)建设穗深同步数字系列(SDH)622Mbit/s传输系统环形网的设想。对PDH、SDH设备进行了比较,对线形传输、环形传输方式进行了比较并用曲线图对环形网两点间最长传输距离的经济性进行了估算。列出了设备的主要技术指标。The assumption of upgrading of Guangzhou-Shengzhen synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) 622 Mbit/s ring transmission network is described in this paper. The plan would be realized by applying the existing optical fiber cable routes (Guangzhou-HongKong and Guangzhou-Fuzhou optical fiber cable routes)in Guangzhou and Shengzhen area. Comparisions are made between PDH and SDH equipment as well as the method of transmission on a line and on a ring. The economic effect of the longest transmission distance between two stations in a ring network is evaluated with the diagram given in this paper. The main technical specification of the equipment is listed finally.
