摘　　要：广东湿地资源丰富,湿地类型多,面积大,分布广,密度高,亚热带和热带特色明显,近数十年来,由于对湿地的盲目开垦和不合理改造利用、环境污染、水土流失、对湿地生物资源过度开发等原因,不少湿地已遭受到严重的破坏。湿地具有重要的生态、经济、社会功能,必须采取切实措施保护和合理利用广东的湿地资源。Guangdong is rich in wetland resources, which are characterized by their various types, large areas, broad distribution, high density, and obvious tropical-subtropical features. In the last decades a large area of wetlands in the province have been damaged because of blind exploitation, irrational utilization and transformation, pollution and silting-up, and over-exploitation of biological resources in the wetlands. Potent measures should be taken to conserve the wetland resources. It is suggested that plans and laws for wetland conservation in Guangdong be formulated, databank and modern monitoring system for wetlands be established, scientific research on wetlands be strengthened, more wetland reserves be built, water pollution in wetlands be controlled, coordinative mechanism for wetland management be constructed, and knowledge of wetland conservation be popularized.
