摘　　要：概述了世界乙二醇供需现状和扩能情况,分析了乙二醇的消费结构,回顾了乙二醇的技术进展。亚洲乙二醇市场将呈现西亚生产,东亚消费的格局。乙二醇的消费进一步向聚酯集中。指出我国乙二醇供需严重失衡,供应缺口逐年扩大,今后几年应考虑上下游配套,通过加大技术创新和内外共建等多种方式,适度建设乙二醇装置,确保乙二醇的稳定供应。The current situation of the world supply and demand and capacity expansion of ethylene glycol ( EG) were described. The EG consumption structure was analyzed. The technological advancement of EG was reviewed. EG consumption is gathering to polyester production. Asia EG market represents the situation of production in West Asia and consumption in East A-sia. The unbalance of EG supply and demand is very serious with an increasing supply shortfall in China. Upstream and downstream matching should be taken into consideration in after years. The sustainable supply of EG should be guaranteed by stimulating technological innovation, promoting international cooperation and rationally building EG plants.
