摘　　要：阐述了全面质量管理引入图书馆的意义和常用的几种方法 ,并对中美两国The paper deals with the significance of introducing TQM and the general condition of it. It also states its common methods and inquires into the TQM practice in the four university libraries both in China and the United States.
