摘　　要：我国传统医药学历来重视“不治已病治未病” ,强调预防为主、防重于治的医学观点 ,并具体体现在未病先防 ,既病防变 ,病后防复三个方面。随着现代医学模式的转变和人们健康观的不断发展 ,药学研究的范畴也由过去单纯发展疾病治疗药物转变到发展预防药物和治疗药物并重。近些年来 ,药物在预防疾病方面显示出良好的应用前景 ,我国目前预防药学应从建立系统的筛选和安全性评价体系、充分利用我国宝贵的中药材资源和中医理论等两个方面为研究重点。Our traditional medicine has invariably insisted that prevention is better than cure. And the idea is embodied in three respects such as taking preventive meas ures before diseases take place, preventing condition from becomeing worsened if a disea se does appear, and preventing an attack of an old disease. As the change of pat terns of modern medicine and the continuous advance of people's health notions, the scope of pharmaceutical research has developed into the stage of exploring p reventive drugs as well as curable ones from the stage before of only exploring curable drugs. Recently, it is found that some drugs have a good practical pros pect in preventing diseases. The author suggests we should focus our research on the following five respects——setting up a selecting system, establishing a se curity evaluation system, making a good use of Chinese crude drugs, selecting pr eventing drugs from functional health-keeping foods, and strengthening basic res earch of preventive medicine.
