摘　　要：在义县组建组剖面和珍稀化石主要剖面基础上建立了义县—北票地区义县阶单位层型和辅助单位层型。义县地区义县阶中的老公沟层、业南沟层、砖城子层和大康堡层及北票上园地区陆家屯层、下土来沟层和尖山沟层是主要含化石沉积层 ,北票地区三个层可与义县地区前三层对比。这些层均发现较丰富的脊椎、无脊椎和植物化石。生物地层可分为义县阶底部 Jeholosaurus— Eosestheria (Diformograpta) ovata— Cypridea rehensis(热河龙—卵圆双形雕饰东方叶肢介—热河女星介 )组合 ,下部为多门类动物化石组合和 Brachyphyllumlongispicum— Otozamites turkestanica (长穗短叶杉—土耳其斯坦耳羽叶 )植物组合及 Cicatricosisporites— Den-soiporites— Jugella(无突肋纹孢—层环孢—纵肋单沟粉 )孢粉组合 ;上部 Jinzhousaurus— Diestheria yixianensis—K arataviella pontoforma(锦州龙—义县叠饰叶肢介—舟形卡拉达划蝽 )组合。义县阶底界以东方叶肢介、狼鳍鱼(Eosestheris,Lycoptera)The stratotype and auxiliary stratotype of the Yixian Stage in the Yixian—Beipiao region are established on the basis of the typical section of the Yixian Formation and the major sections bearing rare fossils. The major fossil-bearing sedimentary layers in the section of the Yixian Stage include the Laogonggou, Yenangou, Zhuanchengzi and Dakangpu beds in the Yixian area and the Lujiatun, Xiatulaigou and Jianshangou beds in the Beipiao area. The three beds of the Beipiao area can be correlated with the first three beds of the Yixian area (in ascending order). It is confirmed that abundant fossil vertebrates, invertebrates and plant assemblages occur just in these strata. Biostratigraphically the beds may be subdivided into the Jeholosaurus—Eosestheria (Diformograpta) ovata— Cypridea rehensis assemblage at the bottom, the assmblages of numerous fossil animal categories and the Brachyphyllum longispicum—Otozamites turkestanica plant assemblage and the Cicatricosisporites—Densoiporites—Jugella sporopollen assemblage in the lower part, and the Jinzhousaurus—Diestheria yixianensis—Karataviella pontoforma assemblage in the upper part. The bottom boundary of the Yixian Stage is represented by Eosestheria and Lycoptera.
