摘 要:目的了解医院对男护士的认知、接受及需求情况,为培养和使用男护士提供依据。方法采用分层抽样的方法,对广州市5所医院的医护人员、患者及患者家属进行调查。结果在682名调查对象中,男护士的知晓率为61.6%;认为可以接受男护士的护理人员575人,占84.3%;认为最需要男护士的科室分别是精神科(85.0%)、急诊科(67.4%)、外科(64.2%)、手术室(58.1%);男护士的职业影响因素主要是传统观念(84.5%)、性别偏见(56.9%)、亲朋好友的嘲笑(43.7%)、家庭成员的反对(38.9%)。结论医院对男护士有一定的需求,建议吸引更多的男性从事护士职业,充分发挥男护士的优点,有利于促进护理事业的发展。Objective To understand the recognition, acceptance and demand for male nurses in hospital so as to provide basis for the training and use of male nurses. Methods A stratified sampling was used to investigate among doctors, nurses, patients and their relatives in 5 hospitals in Guangzhou. Results Among 682 subjects in the survey, 61.6% of them knew the existence of male nurse, 84.3% were willing to accept their nursing care. 85.0% thought the department of psychiatrics needed male nurse, 67.4% thought the department of emergency did and 58.1% thought the operation room did. The factors influencing male nurses mainly included traditional ideas (84.5%), sex discrimination (56.9%), laughing from the relatives and friends (43.7%) and objection from family members (38.9%). Conclusion Hospitals need male nurses in a certain degree. It is suggested hospitals draw more attention of males to the nursing career. As a result, male nurses can exert their advantages, which is beneficial to the completion and advance of nursing.
