摘　　要：自西部大开发之后,党中央又做出了解决"三农"问题的重大战略部署,使西部地区的农业经济无疑遇到了历史性的发展机遇和新形势要求的巨大挑战。在新形势下,如何充分发挥西部地区的比较优势,以市场为导向,形成合理的农业产业结构以振兴西部地区的农业经济,已成为我国农业发展迫切需要解决的重大问题,也是解决"三农"问题的首要问题。Carrying out western development strategy and accelerating Central and western region development are the Central Committee of CPC′s important strategic decision to face the 21^(th)century,which is a great strategy that can influence all the country′s economy and the whole nation′s stability.The agricultural economy in western regions of our country encounters undoubtedly a historical opportunity of development and a huge challenge under new situation.How to bring the comparative advantage into playing exhaustively in western regions and forming reasonable agricultural construction under the market background in order to make western agricultural economy prosper is becoming a great issue that we must resolve quickly for our country′s agriculture development.It is also the first problem related to agriculture,rural areas and farmers for us to solve.
