摘　　要：在国家提出全面建设小康社会目标、走新型工业化道路、大力实施科教兴国战略和可持续发展战略的基础上,结合我国安全生产的实际,与安全生产的内在联系,概述了我国安全生产的现状和形势,安全生产工作的定义、特点和重要性,我国安全生产与发达国家的差距,安全生产科技工作者将面临的主要任务。Based on the discussions of 'building an affluent society in an all-round way', 'taking a new road to industrialization' and carrying on 'relying on science and education to rejuvenate the nation' put forward by the government, connected with the practical situation of safety production in China and the internal relations along with safety production, the following problems are discussed: the present state and situation of safety production in China; the definitions, features and significance of safety production; the distance between China and developed countries in safety production; the main tasks that the scientists and engineers who worked for safety production will faced. What discussed here will have the referencing value for the scientists and engineers who worked for safety production.
