摘　　要：可持续发展是当今国际社会一种关于经济社会发展的新的战略,其主要内涵是通过人口、资源、环境等的相互平衡,实现经济社会的长期、协调发展。根据我国的实际情况,我们在加强环境保护的同时,必须要长期坚持计划生育的基本国策,控制人口增长的数量,提高人口的质量,减轻过多的人口对环境和资源的压力,以实现我国经济和社会的可持续发展。Sustaining development, a new strategy of economic and social development in the present international community, mainly refers to realizing the long-term and concerted development of economy and society through the inter-balance between population and resource surroundings. According to the practical situations in our country, we must strengthen the protection of environment. Meanwhile, we must, in a long run, adhere to the birth control policy, controlling the increase of population, raising the quality of population, reducing the pressure to environment and resources due to over-population, so that we can realize the sustaining economic and social development of our country.
