“丕(不)显”之“丕(不)”助词无义考

摘　　要：本文就《词诠》、《辞源》等书对“丕 (不 )显”之“丕 (不 )”的解释提出商榷。认为在甲骨文、金文时期“不”“丕”同形 ,“丕 (不 )显”至少在西周时就已是常用的通语 ,其中的“丕 (不 )”不是无义的助词 ,而有实在的“大”义。The article deliberates on the explanation of Pi(丕) in Pixian(丕显) given in the books such as Ci Quan (Annotation of Words) and Ci Hai( Word Ocean), maintaining that bu(不) and pi(丕) were the same, and Pixian(丕(不)显) was the current expression at least in West Zhou Dynasty. In Pixian(丕(不)显), Pi (丕(不)) is not a meaningless auxiliary, and its meaning is actually da(大) (big).
