摘　　要：The Liquid crystal light valuves which use smectic C feeroelectric crystal(FLC)asthe electro-optic modulating material and hydrogenated amorphous silicon(a-Si∶H)as the photosensor are recognized to be the new generation of the light valves.Manyperformance studies and characterizations have been done on these devices.
