摘　　要：2001年在新疆昌吉市玉米田首次发现一种新害虫,经鉴定该害虫为白星花金龟(PostosiabrevitarsisLeiwis),属鞘翅目,花金龟科,该虫广泛分布于我国许多省份,主要以成虫危害葡萄、李和桃等果树和玉米、油葵和番茄等作物。报道了该虫害在新疆的发生和危害状况,并提出防治建议和对策。A new pest in maize field was firstly discovered in Changji coumty,which has been identifed that belongs to coleoptera,cetoniidae and it is distributed only in Changji,Xinjiang,China.The damage of crop and fruit trees is mainly made by the adult,such as grape ,apple and maize etc.The paper indicated the situation of discovery and damage of Postosia brevitarsis Leiwis and some advices about controlling Postosia brevitarsis Leiwis were given in the Paper.
